Shannon is a Director in the New York office. She provides strategic counsel to companies across industries on a wide range of transactions and special situations, including M&A, restructurings, IPOs, leadership transitions, litigation, activist defense, issues management and other high-stakes reputational matters. She also supports her clients with proactive reputation-building efforts, corporate positioning and ongoing media and investor relations programs.
Shannon’s select experience includes advising: Oaktree Capital on transaction-related and portfolio support and ongoing corporate positioning; Paramount Global and Snap Inc., among others, on ongoing corporate positioning; Elon Musk on the purchase of Twitter; OneStream on its IPO; Holcim on the spin-off of its North America business; Sprint on its merger with T-Mobile; SoftBank on the launch of various funds and portfolio support; and Nano Dimension, Toshiba, Leaf Group, Emerson Electric and Navient on activism defense. She also has extensive experience working with clients on Chapter 11 restructurings, including NPC International, Acosta, Nordic Aviation Capital, Cineworld and Genesis.
Shannon started her career at Sard Verbinnen & Co, one of FGS Global's predecessor firms, in New York. She graduated from Bucknell University with a B.S. in Management and a B.A. in Spanish.
