Silvia Oppliger is a Managing Director based in Zurich. She advises companies and executives on reputation management, crisis communications, strategic positioning and media relations.
Before joining FGS Global in April 2023, Silvia headed Group Communications for the Swiss mechanical engineering company Bucher Industries, where she ensured consistent and integrated financial and non-financial communications across all channels. Previous roles were Deputy Head of Media Relations at the Swiss National Bank and Production Editor at the Swiss Employers' Association.
Silvia holds a Master's degree in history, political sciences and international law from the University of Zurich and a Master of Advanced European Studies from the University of Basel.
