Life Beyond FGS Global
Love of the sea, all sports and my home of Africa, I spend as much time as I can, outdoors, walking, running and swimming as well as learning new skills and reading about new ideas. I dream of being a writer and artist one day.
Simone has worked in Digital technology based companies since the mid 90’s initially as a programmer of games and 3D character development, and then moved into website development and design.
Having completed a Bachelor degree in Art and then a Commerce degree in Information Systems, her broad skills led her from Advertising agencies in South Africa where she worked as a strategic planner to Australia where she set up and ran the digital functions of EuroRSCG/Havas, Ogilvy One, Frost Design and HOST (a strategic comms agency) prior to moving to the UAE to set up and manage the Digital function of 2454, the Abu Dhabi Media Zone Authority.
After 5 years with the Abu Dhabi Government, Simone returned to Advertising as Managing Director of MRM/Mccann for the ME region where she stayed for 5 years before moving into a smaller, independent social and digital consultancy, CREATE Group, where she ran and grew the business in the role of COO for 3.5 years.
