Most likely wandering Central Park, working out, trying a new recipe or volunteering around the city. As a Kansas City-native and a KU alum, Sophia also loves to cheer on the Jayhawks, Chiefs and Royals any chance she can get.
Sophia Templin is a Director in the New York office, advising senior executives of companies and organizations across all sectors and growth stages navigating transformational transactions, crises and special situations. She has advised on several IPOs, SPAC transactions, restructurings and bankruptcies, as well as shareholder activism mandates throughout her career and has significant experience supporting earnings announcements, investor days and deal- and non-deal roadshows. She also supports her clients with proactive reputation-building efforts, corporate positioning, and ongoing media and investor relations programs.
Sophia graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Journalism, emphasizing in Strategic Communications, and with minors in Sociology and Business. She was a four-year letter winner as a pitcher on the KU softball team.
Sophia currently serves on the Junior Board of New Alternatives for Children and is an active member of the New York Junior League.
