Stuart Fischer has extensive experience managing communications for a wide range of clients. He is a communications advisor to the C-suite regarding media relations, crisis and issue management (e.g., CEO transitions, cybersecurity, labor negotiations), employee communications, and strategic positioning, and has handled assignments in numerous industries – technology, communications and media, health care, airlines, retail (including electronic retail), education, and real estate.
Previously, Stuart was a Vice President at a New York-based public relations and government relations firm. He has also held communications positions with CBS News, NY Mayor Ed Koch, and U.S. Rep. Peter A. Peyser (R/D-NY).
Stuart is currently a Trustee of the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) and he served for eight years as Chairman of the Board of Metropolitan Montessori School on Manhattan’s West Side, where he oversaw the school’s relocation and expansion.
Stuart graduated from Colgate University (B.A., philosophy), where he was an Alumni War Memorial Scholar. He lives on Manhattan’s West Side with his wife, a retired school administrator.
