Tom has more than two decades of experience counseling leading organizations, boards and senior leaders on strategic communications matters, with a particular focus on special situations, including transactions, crises, executive changes and governance issues. He is frequently called upon in high-stakes moments where effective communications drives value and preserves and enhances reputations.
He has spent much of his career focused on financial services and private capital, first as a journalist, he served as Editor-In-Charge of North America Investment Banking and Finance at Reuters, and later at H/Advisors Abernathy, where he last served CEO. In addition, Tom served as co-Chief Executive Officer of the H/Advisors global network, a team of 1,500+ executives across more than 40 offices.
