Will Edgar is a Partner in the New York office of FGS Global, where he helps clients to define and build reputations and manage through major crises, with a focus on disruptive technologies including artificial intelligence & machine learning, robotics and blockchain.
Since joining the firm in 2008, he has worked with financial services, automotive, energy, academic and non-profit clients on a range of sensitive matters including complex litigation, investigations and regulatory issues, large-scale corporate reputation programs, technology-driven business transformations, ESG communications, and activist campaigns.
As co-leader of the firm’s US automotive and mobility practice, he has extensive experience building multi-stakeholder engagement programs around emerging mobility technologies, including autonomous vehicles and automated driving systems, connected vehicles, alternative powertrains and mobility services. He has also helped companies navigate complex national and international safety and emissions regulatory and litigation matters.
Prior to joining FGS Global, Will served in a variety of government and political communications roles, including as an aide to then-Senator Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign, as Press Secretary to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, as a communications aide to former President Bill Clinton and the William J. Clinton Foundation, and in various capacities on other national, state and local campaigns.
Will is a graduate of Williams College in Massachusetts, where he earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Art.
