Worked at Brunswick Group in Hong Kong, helping clients from the TMT, financial and aviation sectors on IPOs, media relations, crisis management and profile raising. Before that, was a journalist at Reuters, South China Morning Post and China Daily.

Yan Jiang is a journalist-turned communications all-rounder with special focus on TMT, financial, automotive and mobility sectors.

She helps Chinese companies navigate touch waters during their milestone events including fundraising, IPOs, and global market expansion, by offering strategic advice on how to engage all stakeholders (media, investors, regulators, employees and customers, etc).

She also helps MNCs raise/protect corporate and executive reputation in China, develop thought leadership, map out potential issues and get prepared, and also offer government policy advisory notes.

Some of Yan’s current and previous clients include Syngenta Group (STAR Market IPO in China), EHANG (Nasdaq IPO), Megvii (IPO and geopolitical issues), Primavera Capital (strategic communications), Bain Capital (strategic communications), MBK (M&A), Fredmann Pacific (M&A and geopolitical risk), AsiaSat (media engagement), Babytree (profile raising), Shell China (media training), Trip.com Group, Horizon Robotics, Didi and REFIRE.

Before joining FGS Global, Yan worked at Brunswick Group in Hong Kong. Prior to that, she had been a journalist for over 16 years at Reuters, South China Morning Post, China Daily, Basis Point (Refinitiv) and Mergermarket, covering economics, property, financial regulations, aviation and other beats.

Yan holds a bachelor’s degree at English Language and Literature from Shanghai International Studies University. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
