Yvette is a Managing Director for FGS Global in Singapore, where she leads and advises clients on strategy, reputation, corporate positioning, change management, financial communications and more. Yvette has over 15 years of international corporate and consultancy experience.
She most recently spent five years in Copenhagen as Head of Strategic Communications & PR APAC for Saxo Bank, a Danish trading and investment firm, where she ran global strategic communications initiatives and established the PR function for the APAC region. Besides professionalizing the communications function, she also served as a business partner to functions such as People & Culture, Cybersecurity and more, worked on change management initiatives and also collaborated with marketing and commercial teams on product launches and building thought leadership across the business lines.
Prior to moving to Denmark, she spent over 10 years in Singapore with consultancies including Teneo, FleishmanHillard and Burson-Marsteller, where she advised clients on brand, reputation and public policy across a range of industries and sectors including Grab, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Saxo, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Falcon Private Bank, The Secretariat Yangon, Lombard Odier, Anytime Fitness, LendLease, Airbnb, Accenture and more.
Yvette has a Master of Arts in Film & Literature with a focus on Queer Theory from Nanyang Technological University. She started her career as a translator with CNBC Asia. She is fluent in English and Chinese, and has good knowledge of French, Danish, Cantonese and Italian.
