Zach Silver works across multiple practice areas, including the sports, entertainment and tech teams. Zach uses his journalism background to help a range of clients navigate complex reputational, regulatory, and legislative issues to achieve their public affairs goals, and well as helps lead proactive issue campaigns.
Prior to joining FGS Global in 2022, Zach worked as a beat reporter for Major League Baseball/MLB.com, first covering the St. Louis Cardinals and later the Baltimore Orioles. Zach’s professional career in journalism began as an intern for The Hagstrom Report, a subscription-only daily D.C. newsletter covering national and international agriculture policy and news. Prior to that, he was an intern for then-Reps. Chris Van Hollen and John Delaney, and he has volunteered on numerous political campaigns in his home state of Maryland.
Zach received a BA in History and a minor in Spanish at Cornell University, where he was the sports editor on the school newspaper, The Cornell Daily Sun
