“I think that the sponsorship does well to foster a culture of inclusivity as I gained a lot of exposure to FGH at such an early stage. Throughout the programme, having the opportunity to talk to various teams at FGH, and being supported during the application process, gave me a great insight into the company’s values and the various areas of communications that exist. The last few months have truly equipped me with the tools and support to confidently break into the communications industry and to be able to learn from, and work with, incredibly talented people.”

Chris Annous

Interests: ESG, Public affairs, digital communications, political analysis

“I remain thankful for being able to participate in the programme. It opened up the world of PR and PA and the opportunities that it brings that was so unknown to me before. FGH’s sponsorship of the programme is so important. Spending the time getting to know how an agency works, speaking to people from such a broad range of disciplines and having a mentor that you can bounce ideas off was invaluable. It also supported my transition as an Intern and Associate as I was already familiar with the firm and so could really hit the ground running.”

“Getting to know the team whilst on the training programme gave me a mentor who I could lean on during the programme and my application process, providing me with the support and confidence to explore the company culture in great depth. Alongside learning key skills on the training programme, such as pitching to the media and crisis communications, I was given the chance to immerse myself within FGH at the same. The sponsorship provided a unique and thorough introduction into the communications industry, with insights you cannot get elsewhere."
